Life has been extremely busy for me, but not so busy that I can’t take in the occasional game at Koshien Stadium. This was, in fact, my first one since a disappointing 0-1 loss to the Hiroshima Carp back on April 10. When the starter was announced yesterday as Aaron Wilkerson I was stoked. When he gave up a hit on the game’s first pitch, I was OK. When a run scored two pitches later, and another four pitches after that, I was worried. And it just kept coming, and it looked as though I chose a dud of a game to attend. Was this the Big Boss magic we were all half-expecting? Lucky for us Tigers fans, that ended after three innings (though they kept hitting all night)… and then it was time for the magic to start.
