If you follow me on Twitter, you have probably seen my trademark name for Jefry Marte home runs. (If you don’t follow me on Twitter, I suggest you do.) This was an excellent game for the third-year import first baseman, as he opened the game with an RBI double, and later hit the game-tying home run in the bottom of the 8th. To top it all off, he also made some slick plays on defense in the ninth to ensure the team of a… tie? Yes, for just the third time this year, a Hanshin Tigers game ended without a victor. Still, hard to complain about an 8-1-2 record on the season against the Swallows. OK, let’s complain a little. That drawn-in outfield in the top of the 8th? BOOOOOOO…
