I’ll be honest with you. I predicted the Tigers would go 1-2 against the Buffaloes and they did. I predicted they would go 1-2 against the Hawks and they did. I predicted they would sweep the Fighters and they did. So a part of me was hoping to be right about a 1-2 finish against the Eagles… but naturally, with a chance to climb the interleague standings and keep their six-game lead over the Giants, a win is much more desirable than my prophecies coming true. Thanks to Yusuke Ohyama, Teruaki Sato, and Masashi Itoh, the T-Ray crystal ball was wrong for the first time in ages, but the Tigers have a five-game winning streak. Now that I’m wrong about this series, how about completing the sweep tomorrow?
