June 19 could not come sooner. We have been waiting for Opening Day long enough. It’s time to play ball! Here is the official announcement from the team about its Opening Day top squad roster. Currently, only four starting pitchers are registered, so by next Tuesday, two more starters will get called up while two fielders (or relievers) will get sent down to the farm. But for now, here it is!
This leaves a whole lot of guys down on the farm waiting for a chance to get called up. This is what the rest of the team looks like. The depth chart is just my guess as to who will get the lion’s share (or tiger’s share, I guess) of the workload. It really could go to anyone. Also, there are multiple players who can play multiple positions. Keep that in mind as you view.
There were not enough slots for pitchers in the templates, so the following guys have been left out. (They have just as much of a chance as anyone to get promoted, though!)
Keisuke Takano, Yen-Ching Lu, Junya Nishi, Masaki Oyokawa, Riku Kawahara, Atsuki Yuasa, Yuya Yokoyama (development), Masaki Ishii (development), Joichiro Maki (development).
