May 22, 2018

You want Randy Messenger to play in his first ever NPB All-Star Game, right? Last year we were well represented, with Marcos Mateo, Ryutaro Umeno, Takashi Toritani and Yoshio Itoi being voted in. Takumi Akiyama also got selected by the CL Manager.

So here’s what you do. First, click on this picture. It will take you to the voting site. On the first day, you have to “register” yourself. Follow my directions below.

The register button is the one on the left that says 会員登録. (On subsequent days, when you go to the above site, click the right button, which will take you to your ballot.)

The next screen looks like this:

Notice there’s a little box near the top of this screen capture. You have to click on it to “agree with rules of voting. Then, line one is obviously your e-mail address. The next line is a password you are to create, which should be 4-16 characters in length (hten works fine as a password). Only click on the bottom box if you want the official NPB mail magazine sent to your e-mail address. You probably don’t.

So you’ll get something in your inbox and in it, a link that looks like this:

It will bring you back to the NPB site page, and you’ll have this screen staring at you:

Click on the blue button, and you’re ready!

And now, here’s how you vote. First of all, you are allowed to vote once a day, every day until June 17. You can click on the Tigers tab at the top of the page, and it will let you choose *any* player you want, but if you really want your votes to count for guys who have a chance at making it in, keep the tab set to ノミネート選手一覧. You’ll see the faces of your beloved Tigers there, and should drag them over to the appropriate position on the left.  (If you want to vote for another player and can’t read the names, and want help… TOUGH. I’m not helping people vote against the Tigers players!) Your ballot BETTER look something like this when you’re done…

Then you can choose whomever you want for the PL. I don’t really care. (But I will vote every day there as well.) Your votes from the previous day should autosave, meaning you needn’t drag the players over every time. Oh, and don’t forget to click on the orange (oooh, I hate that colour) button at the bottom of your screen!

And there’s also another final orange button on the next screen. Only after clicking/tapping on *that* has your vote been registered. Your screen should look like this at the end:

Anyways, do your part, everyone. Share this post with all your NPB (that is, Hanshin Tigers) loving friends, so they can vote for the players on our team. Let’s represent again in 2018!
