Reports today indicate that Hanshin reliever Marcos Mateo has boarded an airplane for the Dominican Republic. The only details the club released were that he is attending to a problem with one of his children, and that his return date has not been determined.
We hope and pray that all is OK with the Mateo family, and that he can make a quick return to Japan.
